President of LR China Went on A Field Trip to Puyi

On March 28, Dr. Xue Maogen, President of LR China, and Mr. Zhang Wen, general manager of LR North China, went on a field trip to Weihai Puyi  Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. They closely inspected the company’s factory site and desufurization equipment, accompanied by deputy general manager and chief engineer of Puyi, who explained in detail the treatment effect and technical performance of the product.

Xue fully affirmed that EGCS is an effective way to comply with global sulfur emission limits. He also acknowledged Puyi EGCS’s advantages of being cost-effective, compact, easy to handle and its high levels of automation and stability. With implementation of MARPOL convention and related Chinese policies, LR attaches great importance to Puyi scrubber tower, thus conducted this research promptly in the spirit of expanding cooperation with Puyi to make joint efforts in development of marine environmental industry.

Xue suggested that Puyi should adhere to its pursuit of excellence, precision and steadiness, consistently improve product quality and technical capacity, to retain core competitiveness and cater to customers’ shifting demands. It was also pointed that LR has a strict classification system, and this thorough research showed LR’s conscientiousness for both shipowners and suppliers.

Weihai Puyi Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in products and services of marine desulfurization. Its EGCS has been approved by CCS and BV, and is currently pending classification procedure by LR.
